To get funds for the purchase, he sent a note to George Weber, president of the Baraboo National Bank, containing the clause "Interest at 5 1/2 per cent payable in nuts". Weber honore his note. Now, Kelley said, he and Weber are searching for some monkeys to harvest the crop of coconuts.
